The mission of Immersity is to reach Universities, Companies and Students in an effort to make
“out of the classroom learning” experiences more accessible. They coordinate travel, programs with
industry leading experts and cultural experiences to get students into the real world. Some universities
do not have the bandwidth to accomplish this goal, or only offer such programs to full time students,
Immersity helps reach more students. Some companies offer tuition reimbursement, they could expand the benefits to encourage employee retention and growth by utilizing these services as another way to help their employees have growth opportunities.
Immersity would like their website redesigned. It’s current verbiage feels more directed at investors than to the stakeholders (intended audiences Universities, Companies and Students). The content is currently only about Universities so more needs to be added and for the varied audiences. Student outreach will be in a future phase with an emphasis on an interactive component. So for now, information to bring in new University and Company partners is the primary goal, with the site structured to fit the Student audience piece down the road as well.
Goals:
Redesign the site with some existing content, some new content and some reworded in varied ways for the different user types. In addition to changing the content, structure and navigation of the site, graphical and aesthetic changes will be reconsidered at this time. The site should appeal to, and be easy to use for, middle aged professional administrators who may represent university staff and well as for middle aged HR representatives from mid to large size companies with benefit offerings. Although down the road there will be a student audience as well, that will be considered a separate initiative and experience. Immersity wants to present themselves as a progressive and intriguing company with clear concise messages to its stakeholders.
